Our Team
Our Centre is staffed by a team of qualified and experienced staff. All staff employed at our Centre are committed to the well being of the children and possess the knowledge and skills essential for children in their care, and providing a stimulating program. As a part of our team, we have an Early Childhood Teacher, three diploma Trained Teachers, 8 Child Care Assistants, one Before and After School Coordinators, a qualified cook, a trainee, two additional needs support teachers and a Centre Manager.
Suitable qualified staff are employeed in all age groups and the child staff ratios are adhered to according to Licensing requirements. All staff will have their Senior First Aid Certificates, working with children checks completed and attend monthly staff meetings. Our staff are regurlarly involved and encouraged to attend further development and training.
We aim for our Centre to be unique in that all of our staff will have had training and experience in the child care profession. For further details on the qualifications of the staff, please see our Director.
Visitors, Students and Relief Staff
Over the course of the year, our centre may have a number of volunteers and Student Teachers from places such as Schools, TAFE Colleges, Universities and Private Colleges. We aim to help and support the professional growth and training of early childhood professionals by providing an environment in which student teachers can implement skills and capacities in a cooperative and accommodating environment.
We will often use relief staff due to staff illness or annual leave. All relief staff are carefully selected and screened prior to working at the centre.
